SNIP: Did you hear about the latest Washington scandal?
SNIPE: Exactly which one are you talking about, the one with trials already adjudicated and others
setting dates for hearings?
SNIP: I understand there is a congressman who says he has ten people who know about some bank or
computer or laptop or something. What’s that about?
SNIPE: Just some nonsense being bandied about for a few years. The behaviors are “alleged”. They may
or may not have happened. I agree that questionable conduct should be looked at but, talking about it as if
that’s been done is misconstruing the meaning of ‘alleged’. It’s like constantly stirring the gravy without
any thickener. Never sets up. I heard this Rep. Comer say they had ten people who knew about the
alleged misconduct. He was asked about them and he said nine of them are one of three places, 1) in
court, 2) in jail and 3) missing. The tenth, the whistleblower can’t be found. Really sounds like a solid
case of facts.
SNIP: I just can’t keep up. That person from – I think it’s Georgia, seems like she’s never there.
SNIPE: Oh, the blond mouth? She was spouting some more of her imaginary facts. She mentioned how
bad the covid shutdown was but didn’t place it in the correct administration.
SNIP: Well, that’s only a few years of misinformation. Maybe someone in Georgia could send her some
old newspaper clippings. Does she read? What else is going on?
SNIPE: Just folks upset about large sums of money used to buy a house, sail a yacht, things like that. lI
was at dinner the other night and imagined a dinner conversation between C & G.
C: Staff prepared an excellent dinner this evening. How was your day?
G: Saw an old friend of ours, I was picking up some things from some friends, don’t ask. How
was your day?
C: About the same. Can’t talk about the friend.
G: He said something about a judgement. Have you heard anything?
C: Can’t talk about it.
G: Don’t you have some time off coming up? I’ve cleared my schedule. Shall we take a
vacation?
C: It’s all taken care of.
G: Oh, What’s the plan?
C: Can’t talk about it.
SNIP: That sounds familiar. I wish I had the opportunity to get things for free like some folks do.
SNIPE: Afraid you would have to run for office for that to happen.
SNIP: I thought you had to fail a logic test in order to serve in Congress.
SNIPE: No, just practice saying, “I’m innocent.” It’s a witch hunt.” “I have all the evidence to prove my
case.” “My accuser is a liar, a wack job, a communist, a racist, a nitwit, .. . . “ You get the picture.
SNIP: Like that young man from NY. He says he has evidence to clear his name.
SNIPE: Kind of like Rep. Comer – got the evidence but just can’t share it. However, as of now too many
uninformed people take the word of proven liars and elected officials without pause.
SNIP: What I can’t understand is the support of fellow electees. What is their reasoning.
SNIPE: Remember in college what the word party meant? Some think that PARTY must be protected
with no regard for people and outcomes.
SNIP: And, I heard that I might not get my social security check next month. I really depend on that.
How can that happen. Is there anything that won’t be affected?
SNIPE: I think the congressional paychecks are immune. Guess they feel the need to pay their bills even
if they don’t feel the need for the government or social security recipients to do the same. I believe those
obstructing believe they are ‘protecting the party’. Haven’t we already gone over that? Oh well, let’s just
wait and see what next month’s events are for us to discuss.
